Red Velvet Brownies

Difficulty 1/5

Red velvet is one of my favourite flavours. It has a bit of cocoa powder and vinegar that really gives it a special touch. The trend with this flavours started with cakes with cream cheese buttercream layers, and then it strongly went over to cupcakes. Nowadays you can find this flavour in pancakes, loaves and even waffles. I loved the idea of making brownies with it and also give it a special topping of cream cheese because the combination is really explosive 🙂 Continue reading “Red Velvet Brownies”

No-bake passion fruit cheesecake

Difficulty 2/5

This passion fruit cheesecake is my new obsession. I had never done a no-bake cheesecake before and I’m not disappointed at all. It’s so smooth and rich it had me head over heels. I did it in a springform pan, which required me to freeze it and then unmould it, but I like it because you actually get to see the layers. If you don’t fancy the extra work, just like a pie mould with the crackers and butter all the way around the mould and then just put the filling inside and into the fridge. You won’t be able to un-mould it though :). Continue reading “No-bake passion fruit cheesecake”

Imagine now that you’re at come, and the smell coming from the oven fills your whooooole house with the scent of Christmas. Nothing compares to it :). I recommend that you always make a double recipe so you can give one to someone else and keep the other 😀 Continue reading “Gingerbread loaf”

Mini lime cupcakes with surprise raspberry and vanilla frosting

Difficulty 1/5

I made this cupcakes to celebrate that I reached 5,000 followers on Instagram! Yayyyyy! I’m so happy that you like what I post, that you prepare and enjoy it. These cupcakes are so yummy! The cupcake itself is lime and then it has a raspberry inside that kind of melt on its own in the oven, and when you bite into it it’s a great contrast with the sweetness of the cupcake. I made them mini sized because, for me, the muffin size is a bit too much sweetness for me to bear. But if you have a serious sweet tooth, then by all means go for it 🙂 The frosting is cream cheese and vanilla bean, but if you can’t get a hold of a vanilla pod, don’t worry and use vanilla essence. Bread pudding with brioche and caramel sauce

Difficulty 2/5

Ohhhhh bread pudding. I think that as years have gone by it’s become infamous as dessert made out of stale bread. However, now we know it doesn’t have to be that way; my brioche was nice and fresh. It also doesn’t have to be something stiff full of egg and dry. I present to you then my bread pudding recipe which is a bit different. To start I do a caramel base (like on a creme caramel) to give it layers of different flavours, and the sausa… THAT SAUCE MY GOD… it’s too good. I was changing it a bit this time, and when I tried it I wanted to go for a swim in it. So here goes my bread pudding with caramel sauce 🙂 Continue reading “Bread pudding with brioche and caramel sauce”
